Ara Papian: Serzh Sargsyan will offer lawmakers as lambs for his oblation (video)
Ara Papian, Director of Modus Vivendi research center in Yerevan, says the newly elected members of the Armenian National Assembly do not understand what a great responsibility falls on their shoulders. “I heard Serzh Sargsyan’s speech made in the National Assembly yesterday. Obviously trying to retain the levers of power, he is putting the entire responsibility on the 100 lawmakers, offering them as lambs for his oblation. The newly elected lawmakers do not realize yet that they will be made accountable, one after another, for something they have no power to influence.”
