Three die in accident on Ijevan-Yerevan roadway
Three people died when a ZIL vehicle first crashed into a Ford car and then into a VAZ-2107 on Ijevan-Yerevan roadway at 6.30 p.m. on May 11. As a result of the accident, the passenger of the VAZ vehicle, Aida Jarahyan (born 1961) died on the spot. The driver of the car and the two other Sergey Badalyan (b. in 1993) and passenger Emma Davtyan (b. in 1932) were rushed to a nearby hospital. Badalyan and Davtyan died in hospital later in the day. The 64-year-old driver of the ZIL left the scene of the accident after the crash. He surrendered to law enforcement before midnight.
