Scuffles between Armenians, Azerbaijanis during Immortal Regiment march in Moscow (video)
Scuffles broke out between Armenian and Azerbaijani participants of the so-called Immortal Regiment procession in Moscow on Tuesday. The march followed Russia's annual Victory Day parade, which marks the anniversary of the Soviet victory over Nazi Germany in World War Two. Participants of the march usually carry flowers and portraits of their loved-ones who died in the war or survived it. “The fight started when Azerbaijanis saw Armenians waving flags of Artsakh. Losing their self-control, they began to shout, saying it was a provocation by Armenians. Azerbaijanis then attacked Armenians, provoking an altercation. In response, Armenians began to hit them on their heads, silencing Azerbaijanis,” voskanapat.info website reports.
