Ivan Volinkin and his mother participate in march in Yerevan, carrying the photo of his grandfather (video)
A solemn march dedicated to participants of the Great Patriotic War, the Nagorno-Karabakh liberation war and the four-day was held in Yerevan on Tuesday. The participants of the event entitled "Immortal Regiment” marched through the central streets of the Armenian capital, carrying the photos of the heroes who participated in these wars. The march brought together relatives and friends if the heroes, as well as ordinary citizens who came to honour and glorify our heroes. Russian Ambassador to Armenia Ivan Volinkin was seen among the marchers with the photo of his grandfather. The march was held for the second time in Armenia, but this time it was bigger in size. The march ended near the Statue of Nelson Stepanyan, with the participants laying flowers and wreaths at the monument.
