AR MoD: Increase of tension registered on border
On May 6, 7-8 overnight increase in tension has been registered on the Line of Contact between the opposing forces of Artsakh and Azerbaijan. The adversary violated the ceasefire regime about 160 times, firing more than 2600 shots from different caliber rifle weapons towards the Armenian positions. In the eastern direction of the Line of Contact, besides rifle weapons, on May 7 Azerbaijani armed forces used 60 mm mortar (7 shells) and automatic grenade launcher (7 shells). The DA vanguard units keep the entire front line under control and continue confidently carrying out their military duty. As of now situation on front line is relatively calm.
