Lack of quorum in Armenian parliament (video)
Armenia’s parliament again could not convene a sitting due to lack of quorum. According to the parliamentary procedure, registration continued about three hours but the necessary number of MPs never showed up. Vice-Chair of the National Assembly Hermine Naghdalyan said that the sitting would not be held since the parliament failed to form a quorum. Currently, Armenia’s National Assembly is comprised of 131 MPs and 66 MPs are needed for a quorum.
