On April 25, Armenia’s Constitutional Court will hear the appeal of the Congress-HZhK alliance which demands that the CC annul the official results of the April 2 parliamentary elections, Spokesman for the Constitutional Court, Hovhannes Papikyan, told A1+ Company. The alliance appealed to the CC on April 14, accusing the ruling Republican Party (HHK) of systematically bribing and intimidating voters and using its administrative resources during the elections. The CC is to examine the appeal within 15 days and make a decision by April 29. Earlier, this month, the Central Election Commission (CEC) rejected a separate appeal by the Congress-HZhK alliance to declare the vote null and void.
