What awaits Republicans according to oppositionists (video)
The Republican Party failed government in all the spheres. Aram Manukyan, representative of Armenian National Congress-People’s Party of Armenia (Congress-HZhK) alliance, voices the strictest assessment. “Crimes, due to which Armenia is simply exhausted, Armenia is ending, more and more people leave their homeland.” Republicans are well aware of people’s negative attitude towards them. That’s the reason, according to Aram Manukyan, that the HHK resorted to pressures with the use of administrative resources. “They frighten ordinary citizens; yesterday you should have seen how many people were made to come to the square.” Public sector employees appeared in the target of the HHK- employees of educational institutions, social sector employees. That fact once again has been proved recently, when Union of Informed Citizens issued 114 records of directors, who had enrolled citizens. “It is a crime, when headmasters in the schools are involved in party activities. The state uses administrative levers through headmasters to put pressure on teachers and through pupils- on parents,” notes Aram Manukyan. The Republican Party must be removed from the electoral process due to these violations, state the oppositionists. With this issue ORO alliance turned to the Central Electoral Commission (CEC). But there is a risk that the legal system, which is wholly dependent on the government, will not act within the frames of the law. Hovsep Khurshudyan says: “Neither security services, nor the police are going to deal with it. They fulfill other instructions; their main instruction is following the opposition, instituting some cases on the opposition, like in the case of Samvel Babayan, defending those, who open fire on the opposition, as it happened in Jrarat.” Hovsep Khurshudyan says, “They have proven that they have connection neither with security, nor development. The biggest problems connected with security appeared during their government. Their plunder weakened the country, the billions taken to offshore, which must have been directed to the weapons, army and economy, they put an end to all that and now they say security.” Only in this case people will immigrate to Armenia, economy will get rid of monopolies, and the courts will get an opportunity to make fair decisions.
