Polad Bulbuloglu nominated for position of UNESCO Director-General
Polad Bulbuloglu, Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Russia since 2006, may hold the post of UNESCO Director-General. The election will be held in autumn, 2017. As of now Bulgaria’s representative Irina Bokova holds the office. UNESCO will announce the names of other candidates until April 1, reports rusarminfo. Bulbuloglu is famous for his anti-Armenian stance.
