A magnitude 3.4 earthquake hit the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Republic at 10:24 am (06:24 GMT) on Monday. The epicenter was 28 km northeast off Karvatchar town. The hypocenter was 10 km beneath the surface. The underground jolts measured 4-5. The quake was felt in the northern settlements, particularly in Dadivank village (3-4) and Karvatchar town (2-3). A magnitude 2.0 aftershock followed the quake at 10:29 am local time.
