People holding sit-down strike at Liberty Square threatened
For already the 3rd day young people, who are holding sit-down strike at Liberty Square, have been threatened. Initiator of the sit-down strike Shahen Harutyunyan told “A1+” that the policemen are visiting the houses of the strikers and urge their relatives not to let them to come to Liberty Square. They are threatened to be dismissed from jobs, universities and they are taken to police stations. According to the words of Shahen Harutyunyan, the young people in the police department were threatened that they will be made disabled. He says that these threats will not affect them, as they have started a fair struggle. To remind, starting from February 27 a group of young people have started a sit-down strike at Liberty Square in support of Arthur Sargsyan, who took bread to Sasna Dzrer, with a demand to change his precautionary measure.
