Azerbaijan uses SPIKE missile along Line of Contact
Azerbaijan used Spike anti-tank guided missile in the southeastern direction (Martuni) of the Line of Contact at 3:40p.m., this according to the NKR Ministry of Defense.
“After the recent developments along the Line of Contact when the offensive actions of the adversary turned to be a total failure and Azerbaijanis, leaving five bodies in the neutral zone, were thrown back, it seemed that this country would refrain from future adventures on the frontline. But today, at 3:40p.m., Azerbaijani armed forces used Spike anti-tank missile in the direction of Martuni, which proves again that Azerbaijan is intentionally escalating the situation on the frontline, which, in turn, is fraught with unpredictable consequences. The NKR Defense Army suffered no casualties.
Notably, besides UAVs, the Azerbaijani side continued to violate the ceasefire firing from different-caliber weapons, including automatic grenade launchers -AGS 17 (10 grenades) and 60 mm mortars (2 shells),” the Ministry said in a statement, adding that it is ready to confront any development.
“The entire responsibility for further escalation of the situation along the Line of Contact falls on the military and political leadership of Azerbaijan,” the Ministry added.
