Aram Sargsyan: Ohanyan’s approaches differ from ours (video)
Chairman of the Hanrapetutyun (Republic) Party Aram Sargsyan today spoke about their candidates for Prime Minister, Speaker of the National Assembly and President of Armenia. He said their top priority is to form a majority in the next parliament. “We shall choose our candidate for Prime Minister by consensus. We have not decided our candidates for the NA Speaker and Armenian leader yet,” he said. Speaking about the ‘opposition stance’ of their rival alliances, Mr Sargsyan said, “Seyran Ohanyan’s ideology and his approach to the country’s foreign policy differ from those of ours. Ohanyan welcomed the extension of a military base-related agreement for 29 years. Vartan Oskanian welcomed property-for-debt scheme which undermines our economy.”
