Azerbaijan employs Istiglal and and SVD sniper rifles on the border
Azerbaijani armed forces violated the ceasefire along the line of contact 25 times yesterday and last night, firing some 280 rounds from various caliber weapons, including snipers. The Ministry of Defense of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic says Azerbaijani forces fired a total of 30 rounds from an Istiglal-type sniper weapon and SVD sniper rifle along the southern, eastern and northeastern directions of the frontline. The NKR Defense Army refrained from retaliatory actions.
