Hovik Abrahamyan, former Prime Minister of Armenia and a former member of the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK), has replied to Serzh Sargsyan who said on January 26, “Major rivers ensure progress along their entire riverbeds, they give life and water and the rills that separate from the major river and do not flow back into the same river for some time dry up and vanish. This is a law of nature, and none of us can go against laws of nature, we can try to manage, regulate but, in fact, this is what will happen.” “The river and rill metaphor was a good one. I liked it," Hovik Abrahamyan said on his Facebook page. "Let us not forget that major rivers are made up of selfless rills. But at some point, tindustrial waste from factories flows into a river and contaminates the entire riverbed, making it good-for-nothing. Perhaps before their extinction, the breakaway rills that still carry the smell of their land, can manage to give life to one or two settlements."
