Sos Gimishyan: Hovik Abrahamyan’s leaving HHK is positive (video)
Sos Gimishyan, Chairman of Christian-Democratic Renaissance Party, considers former PM Hovik Abrahamyan’s leaving the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) to be a positive step, “As we aim at overthrowing the authority of the Republican Party, or at least depriving it of monopoly, so the more people leave the Republican Party, the weaker it will become,” Sos Gimishyan told journalists. He says that there will be people, who will leave the party demonstratively, but everything will be clear over time, but he doesn’t think that Hovik Abrahamyan’s withdrawal is forgery. Today Sos Gimishyan also touched upon the upcoming parliamentary elections, noting that he supports the alliances. And in the political field there are three alliances- Ohanyan, Tsarukyan and Yelk (Way out). “If these three alliances unite, the issue of the authority will be solved. They will even form a majority.” According to Sos Gimishyan, people will not vote for concrete individuals, but for getting rid of the Republican Party.
