Karen Karapetyan does not want to head HHK headquarters (video)
On January 13, Armenia’s Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan invited a press conference to sum up his first 100 days in office. During the meeting with journalists in the Armenian government Karapetyan said he had not been offered to head the election headquarters of the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK). “If I receive an offer, I shall not accept it anyway.” Asked how he would assess his work with the National Assembly and whether he would like to see the same ‘qualitative composition’ and the same faces [in parliament] after the upcoming elections, Mr Karapetyan said, “In this context, my wishes coincide with those of yours.” At the end of the meeting, the premier thanked journalists, saying, “If I speak a bit emotionally, do forgive me, because there is nothing hidden under my words. I am ready to have regular meetings with you. There is no closed topic for you.”
