21 million for catching wolves (video)
According to the decision of the Government, starting from 2012 annually AMD 21 million is allocated for hunting wolves, but attacks of wolves haven’t alleviated as a result of that, environmentalist Silva Adamyan told journalists, “We have told for many times that by killing wolves the problem of farmers will not be solved. Time proved that we were right. Wolves are rather smart animals and catching them is not so easy.” Environmentalist Karine Panosyan noted that they have turned to the Government in order to review that decision and direct that money to strengthening of the communities’ safety and not to the hunting of wolves.
