Republican: “Every day people join HHK, every day withdraw” (video)
According to Gagik Melikyan, lawmaker of the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) faction, all those officials, who committed violations, have been held uncountable. Today in the meeting with journalists, he noted that both the law enforcement authorities and journalists are to follow so that criminal cases be instituted against the lawmakers, who committed violations. The lawmaker also talked about the economy of Armenia, responding to the question why foreign major companies are closing or merging with other companies. According to him, political developments don’t have any impact on them: “Big businesses are sometimes unable to get income, especially in countries like Armenia, which have small economy, that’s why they close down, sell it, get benefit and continue their business in other countries,” he clarified. Gagik Melikyan also talked about over 7000 members, who have recently joined the HHK, stressing that the media outlets have made it a sensation, “Every day people join HHK, every day withdraw,” noted the Minister, finding it difficult to answer how many people have recently left the party.
