CEC approved samples of envelopes and other documents to be used on Election Day
In its regular session held on November 22, the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of the Republic of Armenia adopted a number of decisions that set the standard forms and orders of legal documents that regulate electoral relations. The CEC also approved the samples of envelopes, self-adhesive stamps to be stuck on ballots, numbered receipts which are filled up in cases specified by the Electoral Code, as well as ballot papers to be used in the elections to National Assembly and local-self-government bodies. By a decision of the CEC, additional opportunities will be given to voters that face difficulties in the process in order to make voting accessible for these voters. CEC Chairman Tigran Mukuchyan noted that based on the study of the international experience and taking into account the recommendations of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) they will apply additional measures to make voting more accessible for voters with disabilities ahead of the upcoming parliamentary elections.
