Karabakh: Shelling along frontline continued until 3.30
The intense shelling initiated by Azerbaijani armed forces at around 12:15 in the direction of Talish and Yarimja continued last night and this morning continued until 3.30p.m. During the reporting time, Azerbaijani troops fired 37 rounds, including 13 from 60 mm mortars and 24 from 82-mm mortars. In addition to mortars, the enemy also used different types of weapons to fire in the eastern direction (Akna). Particulary, Azerbaijani armed forces used “Istiglal” (25 rounds) and “Black arrow” (8 rounds) long-range sniper rifles. The NKR Ministry of Defense says its frontline units responded to thwart any forward movement by Azerbaijani forces. The Ministry says the situation on the frontline is relatively calm at this moment.
