The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that there were heavy-going roads in Armenia as of 4:20 p.m. Sotk-Karvachar highway is difficult to pass. Black-ice is formed in Vardenyats Pass, on Saravan-Zanger roadway and on the roads in Jermuk. According to the information received from the Department of Emergency Situations of Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs , the Upper Larsi checkpoint is open for passenger cars with tire chains. The highway is for trucks.
