Armenian Ombudsman, USAID Armenia Mission Director discuss future cooperation
On October 18, Armenian Ombudsman Arman Tatoyan met USAID Armenia Mission Director Ms. Deborah Grieser. During the meeting, Arman Tatoyan described the activity of the Ombudsman’s Office, planned expansion of provincial subdivisions, as well as the main directions and prospects of cooperation with international organizations. The interlocutors also discussed issues related to prevention of domestic violence, protection of the rights and interests of refugees, children and businessmen. Arman Tatoyan highly appreciated the role and activities of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Armenia and expressed his readiness to initiate joint projects in the human rights sector.
