Victor Dallakyan quits HHK (video)
Victor Dallakyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Staff, Serzh Sargsyan’s representative in parliament, has terminated his membership with the Republican Party. Dallakyan confirmed the information during a press conference on October 11. Dallakyan says he is preparing for the upcoming parliamentary elections with his newly formed party. Asked whether [former defense minister] Seyran Ohanyan would join his team, Mr. Dallakyan said, “Seyran Ohanyan has not made any public announcement about his activities and plans, so I will refrain from giving any assessment.” In his speech, Victor Dallakyan also addressed to ambassadors accredited in Armenia. “If anything happens to me and my family members after my speech here, the responsibility lies with Serzh Sargsyan.”
