Shavarsh Kocharyan’s reply to Ilham Aliyev
The reply of the RA Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs to the question by news.am news website Question: Mr. Kocharyan, how will you comment on the reaction of Azerbaijani President to the U.S. Secretary of State’s statement on NKR issue? Shavarsh Kocharyan: Ilham Aliyev’s reaction is the result of the fact that the OSCE Minsk Group Co Chair states for a long time tolerate its provocative rhetoric and actions. Due to that approach by the Co Chairs, Aliyev has sense of impunity, and Baku intensifies its disrespectful stance towards the OSCE Minsk Group Co Chair countries and their proposals. Azerbaijan not only refuses to fulfill the agreements reached during Vienna and Saint Petersburg summits, but, in fact, refuses the fundamental principles proposed by the Co Chair countries for exclusively peaceful resolution of the issue.
