NKR MoD: Any targeting of Armenian serviceman by adversary will not remain unanswered
The information disseminated by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense that allegedly a serviceman was killed by the shot fired by the Armenian side doesn’t correspond to reality. The DA vanguard units never take an attacking role and hold the ceasefire regime with full responsibility. What’s more, it should be noted, that recently the Azerbaijani side has activated the ceasefire violations in different parts of the conflict zone, using not only small caliber rifle weapons, but also machine guns and long-range sniper rifles. The recent proof of the abovementioned is 50 targeted shots fired by the adversary from “Black arrow” and “Istiglal” large-caliber sniper rifles in the northern direction of the Line of Contact. Taking into account this situation, we will advise the Azerbaijani side to remember about the commitments to the international community to hold the ceasefire instead of warnings.
