Zaruhi Postanjyan started political meetings (video)
Heritage party member Zaruhi Postanjyan today said in the National Assembly that the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) is engaged in serious work – the HHK is ensuring the continuity of electoral fraud. “A striking example of this is the CEC and its members who have not changed their features. The HHK is showing the same approaches,” she said. “We are again witnessing seizure of power and use of electoral fraud. The 2017 parliamentary elections will be rigged again if we move ahead by their scenario and we shall again witness usurpation of power and reports about incidents of electoral fraud. Let me remind you that in 2008 Armenia’s foreign debt totaled 2 billion dollars. Today it has grown to 6 billion dollars, which makes 60 percent of the GDP. Can you imagine what might happen if we follow these people? We shall lose our statehood,” she said. The lawmaker says this will be followed by riots, as the authorities will be unable to repay the foreign debt. “Willingly or unwillingly, we are entering a very dangerous phase. They [authorities] have turned the franchise into a monopoly so that only poor citizens can participate in elections and they can impose their wishes on them.” “According to UN statistics, every fifth child in Armenia lives below the poverty line. This is your resource, you have rejected our pan-Armenian resource. Our aim is to create pan-Armenian centers that will be involved in politics, otherwise we shall lose our statehood and future opportunities,” she said. Zaruhi Postanjyan added that she had started political meeting around the world and in the marzes.
