Azerbaijan intensifies ceasefire violations, uses firearms and heavy machine guns
Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire with Karabakh over 40 times last night, firing more than 4000 rounds from various caliber firearms, the NKR Ministry of Defense reports. The violations were especially intense in the northern section of the contact line, where Azeri troops employed DShK heavy machine guns to fire 500 shots towards Armenian positions. The NKR Ministry of Defense says its troops took retaliatory measures to suppress the enemy’s attack, continuing to control the situation on the contact line.
