Andrias Ghukasyan’s detention period extended for two months
According to the decision of the Court of General Jurisdiction of Yerevan Arabkir and Kanaker-Zeytun administrative districts, the precautionary measure, detention, of Andrias Ghukasyan, political expert and member of “Rise up, Armenia” initiative, will be extended for two more months. His advocate Karen Mezhlumyan told “A1+” that the Court had also refused AMD 1 million bail, “It proves that the Court is taking part in the political persecution. There aren’t any bases to keep him in custody.” Andrias Ghukasyan has been in custody since July 30 after the events in Sari Tagh. He is charged with instigation of mass disorders. By the way, Andrias Ghukasyan is well–disposed and urged his wife and daughter not to worry.
