Flash mob: Copies of newspaper distributed across Armenia
On the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of Armenia’s Independence and on the initiative of the Vayots Dzor Regional Youth Center NGO, the issue of "Hayastani Hanrapetutyun" (Republic of Armenia) daily, which was published 25 years ago on Sept. 23, has been re-published today. In includes the results of the referendum on independence and other material about the country’s independence. Over 30 000 copies of the historical issue are being distributed in Yerevan and marzes. The project is implemented within the framework of a grant provided by the President's Office and a competition announced by the Youth Foundation of Armenia. A number of NGOs have joined the move and are distributing the copies of the newspaper in the streets and crowded places through flash mobs, the Youth Foundation of Armenia reports.
