Raffi Hovannisian turns to EPP President
Leader of the Heritage Party, Raffi Hovannisian, has addressed a letter to the President of the European People's Party (EPP), Joseph Daul. “The trumped-up charges against our senior members – Armen Martirosyan (Vice-Chairman of the Party), David Sanasaryan (Press Secretary) and Hovsep Khurshudyan (Coordinator) have not been dropped yet. Criminal prosecution continues against them. Civil activists Andrias Ghukasyan and Garo Yegnukian remain in custody. Many other prisoners of conscience and peaceful demonstrators continue to suffer until today. We ask for your intervention and relevant actions,” Mr. Hovannisian said in his letter.
