Stepan Margaryan expresses his opinion on electoral reform and new PM (video)
The agreement on electoral reform signed between the Government and opposition parties on Sept. 13 cannot stop illegalities committed by the district authorities, says lawmaker Stepan Margaryan, who represents the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) in parliament. He says the publication of signed voter lists after the elections will not help the country conduct fair elections. Mr. Margaryan believes that the use of fingerprints before the vote would prevent electoral fraud more effectively than the post-election publication of signed voter lists. The BHK lawmaker also expressed his opinion about the new Prime Minister.
