Detention period of supporter of “Sasna Dzrer” group extended
Today the Court of General Jurisdiction of Yerevan Arabkir and Kanaker-Zeytun administrative districts has made a decision to extend the detention period of Khachatur Gichyan, who provided a truck to “Sasna Dzrer” group, for two more months. The preliminary investigation body mentioned the fact of carrying out investigative activities as a reason for extending the period of the precautionary measure. Advocate Tigran Sargsyan told “A1+” that his defendant has health problems and by remaining in custody his health condition may deteriorate. To remind, due to health problems, yesterday’s court hearing was cancelled. The doctor gave a medical inference that 69-year-old Khachatur Gichyan couldn’t participate in the court hearing. To remind, Khachatur Gichyan is charged with seizure of buildings and communication means and illegal storage and transportation of arms.
