Karabakh: Armenian soldier killed in fresh ceasefire violations
An Armenian serviceman was fatally wounded in Azerbaijani ceasefire violation on Friday night, the NKR Ministry of Defense reports. Arayik Ordubekyan (born in 1997) was shot to death in a southern military unit of the Defense Army at 11:30 p.m. Investigation is underway to clarify the circumstances of the incident. The Ministry shares the heavy grief of the loss, extending its condolences to the family and fellow servicemen of the soldier. It says the entire responsibility of the enemy’s proactive attacks and their consequences lies on the Azerbaijani authorities. At the same time, the NKR Ministry of Defense reports that Azerbaijani troops violated the ceasefire regime 30 times last night, firing more than 600 rounds from various caliber weapons.
