Ombudsman’s Office says it follows march in Yerevan
Armenian Ombudsman’s Office says its staffers are following the march in downtown Yerevan. "We consider violation of laws, including violation of human rights, unacceptable. We call on all parties to observe the requirements of peaceful assemblies in compliance with the Constitution and the relevant law. It is necessary to exclude any kind of violence. Competent authorities should conduct a detailed study of all reported cases. We are working round the clock, following the developments in the country and taking corresponding measures,” the Ombudsman’s Office said in a statement.
