Republican: For the sake of security, it isn’t excluded that territories will be ceded (video)
During today’s press conference, when touching upon the issue of mutual concessions in the NK issue, Republican lawmaker Lernik Aleksanyan noted, that for the sake of Artsakh’s security, it isn’t excluded that territories will be ceded. “This issue shouldn’t be solved without people. I don’t think that the people are guided only by romanticism. In this issue they must be very objective. The history proved that when romantics faced our problems, we lost,” he said, adding that the territories, which have less connection with Artsakh’s security, must be ceded. “Politics is for people, and not territories. What are the territories for? They are for the security of Artsakh. If we are able to get more guarantees of security by ceding some territories, I think, such a diplomatic process is acceptable and praiseworthy,” said political expert Aghasi Yenokyan.
