Komandos: Our response is not painful for Azerbaijan
Major-General Arkady Ter-Tadevosyan, a Karabakh war veteran known as Komandos, says Armenia’s response to Azerbaijani actions is always inadequate. “We always wait for Azerbaijan to attack and our response is never painful for Azerbaijan, just on the contrary, it is only beneficial to them. Our response should be more painful and we should try to be initiators of attacks,” Arkady Ter-Tadevosyan said on July 13. Komandos says we have a major drawback: we unite in the most difficult situations but then… “We'd be mistaken to think that we can find a common language with Azerbaijan, I do not believe that they [Azerbaijanis] would do anything for us or for their people,” he said. Referring to criticism of the Armenian Armed Forces and army commanders, the Karabakh war veteran said, “We cannot remain so far away from the army as to criticize our army and commanders relying on someone else's words.”
