Serzh Sargsyan: Even the whole world cannot convince the people of Karabakh (video)
Serzh Sargsyan gave an interview to Arab TV station Al Mayadeen, where he touched upon the issues of the Armenian Genocide recognition and the NK. Serzh Sargsyan particularly noted: “For thousands of years Armenians lived in the Nagorno Karabakh and Karabakh has never been a part of Azerbaijan. When Russia sovietized, and soviet ideas spread in our region, Armenia was an independent state as well as Azerbaijan. According to the decision of the Caucasus Bureau of the Communist Party Karabakh was annexed to Azerbaijan, having nothing in common with Azerbaijan. The same happened with Nakhijevan. Today no Armenian remained in Nakhijevan, the Armenian historical-cultural heritage has almost wholly been destroyed.” Even if at present the whole world, all the main forces unite and try to convince the people of Karabakh that they must live in the composition of Azerbaijan, believe, it will not be possible, those people will not agree.”
