The parents of soldiers who died in the armed forces in non-combat situations have gathered near the Presidential Residence for the first time since the four day clashes in Karabakh in early April. Irina Ghazaryan adds in turn that her son was killed by Martin Jhangiryan. “He [Jhangiryan] has been made a hero by Serzh Sargsyan. His sponsor is Movses Hakobyan who wants to replace Seyran Ohanyan as Defense Minister,» she said. Though the European Court of Human Rights has recently rejected the complaint filed by Artur Ghazaryan's mother, the woman says she will not give up and will continue to look for justice. According to the official version, Artur committed suicide while his mother says her son's body was tortured. “His lips were stuck from inside, there were bruises on his fingers and his head was swollen. I have photos of him.” Forensic psychologist Elda Grin, who was participating in a meeting at the Presidential Palace, approached the group as soon as she left the building. She advised the grieving parents to demand a review of their sons’ cases. The parents left the area, promising to return soon.
