The health condition of serviceman Ruben Arakelyan, who was wounded during April War, has improved a little, Narine Tumanyan, relative of Ruben Arakelyan told “A1+” about it. “Ruben began moving his left hand. Every day we take him for a walk for more than an hour. He eats in a more normalized way,” she said. To remind, Ruben Arakelyan continues receiving treatment in Erebuni medical center. 19-year-old serviceman was wounded in Talish; he has spinal cord and throat injuries. The movements of Ruben are limited. He is able to move his head but not the legs. “In general, Ruben feels good. But during the walk he complaines of the wheelchair, he cannot get used to it.” The health problems of the son also affected the health condition of Ruben’s mother Anahit Mkrtchyan. “At present Anahit suffers from depression. A few days ago we called an ambulance for her. During these two days she hasn’t been able to visit her son,” told Narine. In reply to our question, she noted that Ruben still doesn’t need an operation, “Doctor says that first movements must be restored and then operation must be carried out.” In the near future the serviceman will also need a treatment abroad. “The Ministry of Defense promised to aid. Besides, member of the Public Council Anahit Bakhshyan addressed a letter to His Holiness. We are waiting for the sum to be collected.” Bank accounts have been opened in order to aid the soldier.
