MoD: Sporadic shots on the border
Armenia’s Ministry of Defense reports that the operative situation remained unchanged and was calm on the Armenian-Azerbaijan state border on May 20-21 overnight. In the northeastern direction of the border the Azerbaijani side opened sporadic fire at Armenian posts, using various caliber firearms. The Armenian Armed Forces keep the border situation under control and confidently carry out their military tasks. According to the operative information of the NKR MoD, on May 20-21 overnight situation on the Contact Line between the opposing forces of Karabakh and Azerbaijan remained calm. The adversary violated ceasefire agreement using different caliber rifle weapons. The DA vanguard units remained committed to the ceasefire agreement and continued confidently carrying out their military task.
