NKR MoD: Serviceman receives heavy gunshot wound
The tense situation on the Contact Line between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces started after midday of May 13 maintained until early hours of May 14. The adversary continued violating the fire cessation agreement using 60 mm (53 shells), 82 mm (142 shells) mortars, HAN-17 (30 shells) and RPG-7 (2 shells) grenade launchers and ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft twin-barreled autocannon (30 shells). As a result of the ceasefire violation by the adversary in one of the military units stationed in the northern direction of the DA, Hovhannes Eduard Poghosyan (born in 1995) received heavy gunshot wound. As a result of the retaliatory actions initiated by the DA vanguard units the adversary’s activity was quelled. Press service of the NKR MoD
