Azerbaijan fires from sniper rifles towards Armenian positions
On the night of May 13, Azerbaijan continued to use various caliber firearms and sniper rifles to open sporadic fire in the direction of Armenian positions, Armenia’s Defense Ministry says. The Ministry says the Armenian Armed Forces continue controlling the situation, continuing their military vigil. The Ministry also reports that the operative situation remained unchanged on the Line of Contact between Karabakh and Azerbaijani armed forces this night. Azeri troops continued violating the verbal agreement on the ceasefire in the reporting period, using various caliber firearms, 60-, 82- and 120-mm mortars, as well as grenade launchers.
