Government to defend consumers’ rights
Minister of Economy Artsvik Minasyan today presented at the National Assembly the Government’s legislative initiative on making changes and amendments to the RA Civil Code. The legislative initiative proposes solving two issues: “The project promotes e-commerce and removal of its bans, in particular, the demand that during the e-commerce CRM receipt must be given, is removed from the law,” noted the Minister. The second amendment of the Government is connected with the return of the product. “In the amended version of the law, the consumer can not only exchange the non-food product in appropriate condition and in set terms, but also return and get back his money,” he summed up.
