Statue of Heydar Aliyev vandalized in center of Baku: Azatutyun
Today early in the morning it became known that the statue of Heydar Aliyev, the former President of Azerbaijan and father of the current President, had been vandalized in the center of Baku, when the photos proving it appeared on the social networks. Unknown people left graffiti on the pedestal of the statue in the Azerbaijani and English languages. One of the graffiti on the pedestal of Aliyev’s statue read “Happy Slave Day”. As of now nothing is known about the authors of the action. More on the source website
