Armenians in Glendale commemorate Genocide victims (video)
Armenians in Glendale, California, commemorated the 1.5 million victims of the 1915 Armenian Genocide with a candle lighting ceremony. The event was attended by US Congressman Adam Schiff, politicians and representatives of the local Armenian community. Glendale has been a haven for Armenians for generations. Most of the Armenians in Glendale arrived in the city in the past two decades.
