NKR MoD: Military positions shelled: one serviceman wounded
Press service of the NKR Ministry of Defense informs that contractual serviceman Hayk Minasyan, born in 1994, got gunshot wound as a result of the firing by the adversary in the northern (Talish) direction of the Karabakh-Azerbaijani Line of Contact at about 15:00, April 23. On the same day, from 15:55 to 20:00, the Azerbaijani armed forces intensively shelled the Defense Army military positions in the northwestern (Martakert), eastern (Askeran) and northern (Talish) directions of the Karabakh Defense Army from mortars of different calibers. 60 mm (14 shells) and 82 mm (99 shells) mortars were also used. The Defense Army vanguard units carried out preventive actions to quell the activeness of the adversary and stabilize the situation on the frontline. At the moment the situation at the Line of Contact is calm.
