Kurds staging rally outside the CoE building (video)
Turkey’s Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu is making a speech at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) in his native language. Today Turkish is one of the official languages at the PACE. While he was speaking about Turkey’s democratic values, age-old culture, becoming home for Syrian refugees, Kurds were staging protest action outside the CoE building, a part of whom had come from Germany. They blame the Turkish authorities for fascist ambitions, informs correspondent of “A1+” from Strasbourg. By the way, when Turkey’s Peoples’ Democratic Party MP Ertuğrul Kürkçü posed a question, to what extent the country, where Kurds lose their houses, is safe for Syrian refugees. Davutoğlu advised posing the question in Turkish, if he represents Turkey. MP posed the question in English. Davutoğlu announced that it is very good for Syrian refugees, and also that they will continue the fight against terrorists, and no one can turn Turkey into Syria. By the way, while speaking about the regional tension, Ahmet Davutoğlu spoke not only about Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Nagorno-Karabakh, but also about Nakhijevan.
