Adversary opened fire in the direction of Armenian positions
On April 11-12 overnight in the northeastern part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border, the Azerbaijani side, using rifle as well as large-caliber weapons, randomly opened fire for 16 times in the direction of the Armenian positions. The RA Armed forces, displaying restraint, took retaliatory actions only if strictly necessary and confidently keep the situation on the border under control. The Nagorno Karabakh Ministry of Defense informs that on April 11-12 overnight the ceasefire agreement between Nagorno Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces was mainly maintained, however the Azerbaijani side fired mortars and grenade launchers at Armenian positions in the northeastern (Martakert) and southeastern (Hadrut) directions of the Line of Contact. In particular, Azerbaijan fired 82mm mortars (3 shells), 60mm mortars (4 shells) and HAN-17 grenade launchers (17 grenades) at Armenian positions. The Azerbaijani side also used a reconnaissance UAV during the night in the southern, eastern and northern directions.
