Azerbaijan opens fire on Armenian settlements in Tavush and Gegharkunik
On the night of April 8, Azerbaijan opened fire on Armenian settlements in Tavush and Gegharkunik provinces. Artsrun Hovhannisyan, Spokesman for Armenia's Minister of Defense, said this adding that Armenian army positions stationed in theses provinces were targeted by the enemy. The enemy fired from 120 mm mortars and SPG-9 anti-armour weapon in the direction of Karmir, Ttujur and Baghanis villages. Fortunately, the Armenian side did not sustain any casualties.
